Our Partners in Mission & Outreach
Our committee members are working to keep in touch with our mission partners to learn about their immediate needs. Here is an update.
St. Francis Center continues to welcome guests at their day center but has closed the employment center and health clinic. Their main need at this point is volunteers who are healthy and under the age of 60. Please visit their website (sfcdenver.org), if you fit that description and are able to help.
Metro Caring continues to serve the community. They are now operating with a drive through pick up in the parking lot and supplying food boxes. The Fresh Market is closed. Their needs include healthy volunteers under 60 and also reusable shopping bags, which they use, along with boxes, to distribute the food. The number of people using their service has increased and is likely to continue to increase.
Family Promise continues to support the families enrolled in the program. They are housing families in motels when church facilities are not available.
Florence Crittenton has closed, but they did provide all of the mothers in the program bags with supplies to use during this time.
CHARG has closed the drop-in center but is still offering limited services at the Heartland Clinic.
Irving Street is still home to the women residents but is not allowing outside visitors.
The Mission and Outreach Ministry asks you to join us in prayer for our mission partners and all of those in our greater community who are vulnerable and in need.
